Sara Keilty

Since 2004, retail has been her creative canvas. Though she be but little, she is fierce.

Sara Keilty is an apparel designer residing in the gulf coast of Florida. She graduated with a degree in Fashion Design from F.I.T. in New York City and also holds a degree in Apparel Design Technology/ Art and Design from Purdue University in West Lafayette, IN. She has over 19 years of design experience in the apparel industry, and still remains passionate about what she does. Sara also enjoys traveling, scuba diving, underwater photography, reading, making art, and vintage shopping. Sara volunteers assisting in scuba diving instruction at the YMCA as well as likes to stay fit with kickboxing, swimming, and hiking. 

Sara is seasoned and successful Designer- a passionate leader with a proven track record of launching new divisions and brands resulting in greater productivity and profitability. She’s an expert communicator with experience bringing together cross functional departments to create brand appropriate designs within cost targets and margin goals. Combining her experiences from her background in the retail as well as wholesale worlds, Sara is fully able to understand product lifecycle management from all sides as well as cost/margin constraints and how to create trend right and brand appropriate product within those guidelines.

Sara is currently a Senior Product Designer at The Orvis Company specializing in Outerwear, Jackets, Bottoms, Skirts/Skorts, and Leather, and Handbags.
